Inspirations - Christian Kane

I have a confession to make. It won't surprise Pepper, or my husband, or many people who know me, but it's something my readers probably aren't aware of.

Christian Kane turns me to mush.

I'm not convinced he's the greatest actor, mind you. But there's something about the twinkle in his eye and that southern boy charm that hits all my best spots. He's got a band, too, called - appropriately - Kane, and though country music isn't something I listen to on a daily basis, I do love their sound.

Anyway, what this means is that when I was looking for inspiration for my hero in my upcoming release, Ruby Red Rebels, I didn't have to go very far. See, my hero is a Texas vampire cowboy. In my mind, there was only one man to use:

That's my Max. All the way down to the white hat. ;)

But tell me, how can a man who looks like this not be a romance hero?

It's even better without the shirt:

But I'll admit, it's the smile that gets me every time...

I've been ubtrigued by Christian ever since "Angel"!
As a singer and guitar player, I loved the backstory of his character.

That's "intrigued". LOL
Never try to touch type if you don't know how!

You know, I didn't notice him all that much in the early seasons. It wasn't until he started getting so gray and then in Season 5 that he really grabbed me. But now I think Lindsey is one of the more interesting characters from the show.

Vivien :)
