We write a lot. Really. We mean it. We write too much for the stories sometimes, and we have more ideas for our favorite characters than we have space for in a book. That's why we've created the Free Stories section. Just because the story is over, doesn't mean that's all there is.
And sometimes, we have to cut a chapter or a scene for whatever reason. As a result, we're going to start posting missing scenes and new scenes once a week, starting this week. And what is this week's offering? An entire chapter we had to cut from Master of Obsidian. Yep, one whole chapter was ruthlessly sliced out of the final novel, because, in Amber Quill's view, it just went "too far".
What's too far?
It contains a sexual scene between Gideon and Jesse, and while it's not violent in nature, it does involve a D/s situation that incorporates age role-playing. In the internet circles we travel, it's referred to as daddy!kink.
