New Review: FAR Master of Obsidian

Reviewer: Ashley
Rating: 4/5 Angels

Gideon is a vampire private investigator. He helps humans with his assistant, Jesse. Jesse is human and has been in love with Gideon every since the two became best friends. He hides, or thinks he does, his attraction and tries to continue on as usual. They take a case to find the murderer of a councilman’s son. The case leads them into a dark alley, where Gideon shows Jesse just how much of the boss he is, in all ways.

Jamie Craig wrote an excellent erotic vampire story. I was hooked from the first page. The emotions between Gideon and Jesse felt real and I felt like I was a part of their journey from friends to lovers. Gideon is strong and he knows how to care for Jesse, while at the same time being the dominant lover that Jesse needs and wants. He has a dark past and it’s easy to see that he has changed and that he isn’t the bad guy, even while playing one with Jesse. Jesse is strong in his own way, he doesn’t back down and he doesn’t run when things get rough. These two characters are what I look for in a book, they had a presence and they complimented each other extremely well. Master of Obsidian is a fantastic story about the darker side of love. Jaime Craig has found a new devoted fan with me.
